How early should we book a wedding planner?
For a full-service Indian wedding we recommend 8–12 months ahead, and 12–18 months for a destination wedding where hotel blocks and guest travel need locking early. We do take on shorter timelines — our record is six weeks — but the vendor pool narrows fast.
Do you plan smaller, intimate weddings?
Yes. We plan 50-guest weddings with the same team and the same rigour as 800-guest celebrations. Scale changes the logistics, not the standard.
Can we hire you for just one part — say decor, or only the day itself?
You can. Design-only and coordination-only engagements are both common. We'll be straight with you about where a partial scope creates risk — on-day coordination without prior planning involvement, for instance, means we inherit contracts we didn't negotiate.
How do you charge?
Either a flat planning fee or a percentage of the wedding budget, agreed upfront and written into the contract. Vendor quotes are shared with you as we receive them, so you always see what a thing actually costs.
What happens if a vendor drops out?
We hold backup options for every critical category — caterer, photographer, decor, power — and the contracts carry penalty clauses. In ten years we have never had a function not happen.
